Sous Chef

I had my orders.  I was already home and had to get the rice and barley started.  Just that.  In the rice cooker.  I was responsible for the “base”.  “Easy Peasy.”    

He came home and added the onions, peppers, spices, kielbasa and I don’t even know what else.  All that.  In a fry pan. He was responsible for dinner.  “Easy Peasy.”

Our dinner was ready in minutes flat.  It was delicious.  

We cleaned up even faster.  The next course would be even better.

I was ready to give the orders now.  I like working under the chef.
